Raikkonen Races Into Phuket
Thai resort style developments have lured many sport stars into their fold in recent years. The latest to join the gang of Thai investors is Kimi Raikkonen. The Ferrari racing Finn has invested his money into a luxurious beach front unit in Phuket, Thailand’s largest and most popular island.
Raikkonen who lives in Switzerland has apparently paid a hefty US $1.5m for his upmarket private villa in the sought after Serenity Terraces.
Serenity Terraces is a very flash new residential development in the up and coming Rawai area.
The property consists of beach front condominiums and a typical unit size is 126 - 258.6 Sq.m. The units range from one to two bedrooms and adjoining facilities make for a pretty snazzy lifestyle.
Local residents will have at their disposal a large clubhouse, swimming pool, restaurant, spa and gym.
The professional managed project will also include an optional resort style rental scheme.
The local area is a dream come true for yachting, beach living, diving, shopping and restaurants.
The investment of high profile sports stars into the Thai market also helps other international buyers to put their mind at ease. Phuket enjoys an increasing luxury profile in the property market and savvy investors like Raikkonen have seen the potential of it all.
