China’s Top Web Portals Getting to Grips with Real Estate

With a strong and very optimistic outlook in China’s domestic real estate market, leading Chinese webites SINA Corp & Baidu.com have each announced a move into real estate web marketing.

The JV would involve E-House China providing proprietary real estate content ranging from its property database & analysis system to its Chinese Real Estate Information Circle system (which contains transaction data on land, residences, offices, as well as commercial buildings in 30 major Chinese cities).

otherhand plans to enhance and increase its share in China’s online real estate advertising sector by enhancing its realtionship & cooperation with its clients in the real estate sector.

Netease 193.comIn the home decoration sector, NetEase & Nettop.cn have established a strategic partnership

NetEase, the internet company behind the popular Chinese portal 163.com, has also unveiled a similar strategic partnership with Nettop.cn, a real estate e-marketing service firm.

Their partnership is strategically structured to enable Nettop provide real estate and home decoration content and advertising for 163.com.

The internet is becoming more and more an important real estate marketing channel in China, particularly in the first-time buyer market which typically are web savvy 25-35-year old users.
