New York’s Fifth Avenue has retained its top position as the world’s most expensive shopping street in the world [1], according to Main Streets Across the World 2006, with unit rental on Fifth Avenue commanding an average of of US$1.35m per 1,000 sq ft/93 sq m per annum.
