Orlando real estate has some of the best ot offer, when you think about it, you have a property in the hub of activity with disney, universal and all of the conference centers all based in one area, Orlando Real Estate has it all.

But be aware there are some pit falls, over priced property that doesnt stack up ie rentals dont cover your mortgage, hence the major subprime issues in Florida.

But now is the time to buy! STOP!!!!! that doesnt mean buy anything, no you should look around and make sure that your property stacks up. Ie if your looking for a villa then make sure you have a good rental management programme you can get into. One development I found was www.floridaysresales.com then rentals are coming in at 12%, which equates to approx $50,000 per year based on 1st quarter figures 2008. Your looking at a property that is not only self sufficient but one that generates you money as well as appreciating in capital (allbeit after the credit crunch).

Personally I prefer condos, not becasue I like hotel rooms but, from an investment point of view they offer everything to the widest range of audience, ie good short term rentals, open to holiday makers and business people alike.
