Foreclosure sales are dominating the Southern California market which in turn is forcing house and condominium prices down by as much as 23 percent. MDA DataQuick revealed the median price dropped from $348,000 to $268,000 a year ago.
For the regions of Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, Ventura, San Bernardino and Orange counties the number of homes sold increased almost 19 percent in the last 12 months to 24,104.

Doha’s City Centre is soon to be graced with two new luxury hotels. The five star hotel operators Marriott and Shangri-La are both set to open their doors shortly, respectively next year as being part of the new City Center building in Qatar’s capital Doha.
In total there will be five luxury hotels. Two of which will be adjacent to the east side of the shopping mall – the Marriott Courtyard and the Renaissance Hotel. The other three will be situated on the west side including the two Marriott hotels – the Doha Shangri-La, the Doha Rotana Hotel and a new Merweb.

The famous Millennium Dome of London, also called the O2 Arena is set to be bought by Cambridge’s Trinity College. Trinity College which is understood to be Oxbridge’s wealthiest college is in talks to acquire the O2 Arena for an estimated £20m+.
